Suzette C. Boyette is a mom who is learning to “let go of certain things” and to “appreciate the moments of the day” every single day. As a mom of three, a husband who travels during the week, and a woman trying to start her own new media company (with her husband), she is just like you who organizes the day while in the shower, fits in her calls while waiting in the car line, and tries to “squeeze” in some exercise time to decrease the pooch that “all of a sudden” appeared after her first child.
She loves teaching other women about their bodies when she practices as a Women’s HealthNurse Practitioner at the University of Central Florida; other parents about Redirecting Children’s Behavior as a parent educator at the Compassion Outreach Center; and other moms about Newborn Care as a childbirth educator at the Healthy Start Coalition. Most of all she loves the blessing of being a mom and wife.
When Suzette’s not “working,” she loves to cuddle with the children (favorite time is in their pajamas right after a bath); read while sipping either a cup of tea or coffee (her latest favorite is Eat, Pray, Love); bake (her specialty is cheesecake); run (the best time to reflect on your blessings); travel (her dream is to spend 1 month at a Tuscan Villa learning how to cook and speak Italian); and go on “dates” with Troy (favorite date is a 3-hour dinner at their favorite Seasons 52).
