Imagine walking into a new state-of-the-art urgent care center where every detail of your care has been answered… Onsite pharmacy, specially trained emergency room healthcare providers, and additional services to enhance your care! This is the concept of Bucky Boaz, ARNP and Dr. Brantley Molpus with the MiniER, here in East Orlando. This week we have a fun conversation with our neighbor, Bucky Boaz who candidly shares with us how the MiniER came to our community. Listen to him tell us about this “divine intervention” and how much faith he had in his dream. It gave us goosebumps!

Also, we are so impressed at how this wonderful team of the MiniER gives our community a wide variety of services that traditional urgent care centers do not. A few of the comprehensive services that they offer their patients are occupational therapy, physical therapy, sports physicals for the children and the immediate convenience of an onsite pharmacy, onsite x-ray machine, and an onsite laboratory for blood tests. Their goal is to be a concierge type service for health care in order to solve the problem of delayed health care in the urgent care arena. No more useless waiting. They have included these things because they saw it was a problem in today’s health care facilities.

Bucky also discusses with us that the staff have all had at least one year of emergency room training. They will see patients as young as a few weeks old to the centurians that may walk in. No discrimination. Regarding insurances, they are diligently trying to go through the process of applying to the various ones available. Doors will be open to see their first patients this week. They also have a Foundation that they have established to share with the community giving back. How cool is that to start right away?!

In addition to opening such an incredible urgent care center, he is also the proud father of two handsome boys and a devoted husband who so lovingly praises his wife during our interview! (Now that’s a man we all love!!!) Having met his beautiful and proud wife, I could see how they both support one another. This is contributes to the success of any new business and of course, marriage. You just have to listen to what Bucky says about his wife. He couldn’t say enough sweet things…

So, please enjoy this week’s show. We really enjoyed our talk with Bucky and both Michelle and I love the MiniER. We were able to attend the grand opening this weekend and we do have to say, it is spectacular!!! My favorite is the GYN room and how the door opens a certain way and the exam bed is not facing the door. Both privacy details for the female patient. See how diligent and meticulous they are already and this was just with the design.
