Is this the scenario in your home during the week for dinner? You go through the drive thu of any fast food restaurant and then have this twinge of guilt… You know this is not a healthy meal, so to compromise in your mind, instead of purchasing a soda for them, you purchase milk instead. That’ll pass for tonight… Sound familiar?
Well, in this week, we learn some valuable information regarding how important proper nutrition is for your kids and for ourselves as mothers. Our friend and author, Cindy Heroux from the Mesos Center in Winter Park discusses with us how to properly shop at a grocery store such as Publix and within 20 minutes you immediately have a healthy, well balanced meal in less time than it would take you to order take out. Cindy also gives us moms the title of being “the gatekeepers of nutrition” for the family. We are the ones who are in charge of their health and we are also the examples for our children. You won’t want to miss this!

It’s on Edgewater Dr. here in Orlando. They also have some pretty cool things such as poetry reading in the evenings as well. Please go check them out. Tell them Suzette sent you!
